How do I convert a ps1 dexdrive save file to a save file compatible with epsxe (self.emulation) submitted 3 years ago by 25sittinon25cents So I was literally near the end of Suikoden 2 (pretty much at the last part that gives you the freedom to do side quests and recruiting before entering the final battle) when my phone conked out and died on me. Save Game File: 12/29/06: Mad Monarch Gyl: 131K: At the last save spot. All 108 characters collected. Ready for Suikoden 2. All weapons maxed. All possible collectibles in warehouse. Save Game File: 08/24/01: Bobo The Clown: 27K: Characters at the end of the game. Many have maxed out stats. Gremio alive, best ending possible. Works with Suikoden 2.

I don't really understand about this problem, but when i want to load my game data from Suikoden I to Suikoden II with ePSXe emulator, it was failed. It said that there wasn't any Suikoden I saved data at my memory card.

I can't figure it out what's wrong with this problem? When i check from it's BIOS, i still have my Suikoden I saved data in my memory card. (but of course it not the real memory card, because this is an emulator) and i saved in the correct place of the game (it said that i should saved at the last saved point so that i can load the saved data at the beginning of Suikoden II. Everything was fine with ePSXe, i can play every game, and never had any trouble. Except with this one.

I still can play both games, Suikoden I and Suikoden II separately. Because they're different games, but i can't load the last saved data from Suikoden I to II, which is can do with real PSX. My PC is in a good condition, with also good spesification. I think it's OK with my PC. So why it's still unreadable?

- It's beacuse this is an emulator which has different system compared with the real PSX?? - Is it because it's different game?? Suikoden I and Suikoden II?? - Or there're some troubles with my PC?? I dunno, you have any idea?? Thx Maybe i should asked www.suikosource.com.

This is the reddit community for OpenEmu help and discussion. OpenEmu is changing the world of video game emulation. For the first time, the 'it just works' philosophy now extends to open source video game emulation on the Mac. With OpenEmu it is easy to add, browse, organize and with a compatible gamepad, play those favorite games (ROMs) you already own. • • • • • • • • • Rules 1) Asking/showing where to find games (ROMs) and BIOS files is not allowed. 2) Don't post PlayStation (PSX) tutorial videos unless they follow the steps on the wiki exactly. 3) Posts about Pokemon games on DS will be removed.

Hi everyone, I could really use some help here, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I just finished playing Suikoden using the PS1 emulator built into this program, and I'm going to be playing Suikoden 2 using the same emulator Openemu provides.

I'm wondering how I can put my save files into Suikoden 2 from Suikoden 1 so Suikoden 2 reads said save files and I'm able to access the content you get from that. Given this is an emulator and not an actual PS1 with a memory card, I'm really not sure how to do this, on either Windows or Mac. I'm currently on a Mac computer with the Sierra OS. Again, any help would be so appreciated, I can't thank you all enough. EDIT: I can now confirm that it works. Go to Macindosh HD/Users//Library/Aplication Support/Openemu/Mednafen/Battery Saves [If the Library folder is not visible, while you are in right-click the white space between the folder icons and in the menu popping up, click 'Show view options'.

In that window, check the box that refers to revealing the Library folder.] Once you open the 'Battery Saves' folder, as stated above, look for 2.mcr files (.0.mcr and.1.mcr) that have the name of your Suikoden 1 and some numbers. To avoid conflict, or data loss, do these first: •Move both Suikoden 2.mcr files elsewhere (you'll need their names, don't delete them!). •Also, copy the Suikoden 1 saves elsewhere to have backups, in case something goes wrong. After taking those 2 measures above, copy the name of Suikoden 2 0.mcr file and paste it to the file Suikoden1 0.mcr in Battery Saves folder. Do the same for the 1.mcr files.
