Product Information • Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters Championship 06 features over 2,000 cards and is the official game of the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Tournament. New modes, including 'Limited Duel' and 'Duel Puzzle,' are designed to test a player's dueling skills in a variety of ways from playing with a limited deck, to completing a list of objectives in a single turn. 'Theme Duel' requires the satisfaction of specific conditions to win, such as activating ten traps in a battle or causing 10,000 or more points of damage in a single fight.

The game includes all of Upper Deck's structure decks, including 'Dragon's Roar' and 'Spellcaster's Judgment,' Yu-Gi-Oh! GX cards, and three exclusive trading cards. The new cards are intended to preserve the game's classic elements of traps, monsters, and spells, but allow more offensive and defensive tactics and provide accurate simulation. Best Yugioh game but hard It is the best game because: - Has 2000+ cards - Has little pics on all the cards so you know what they are without selecting them - You battle monsters instead of the usual yugioh people, meaning that each deck is themed acording to the monster instead of the usual decks they have in the yugioh games - You can enter in the little code on cards to buy them in the game. - REAL packs mean that you know what's in them (there are real packs to buy) - No time waisting tutorial (good for seasoned players) Here is what i didn't like about the game: - No tutorial for beginers - The music gets annoying after awhile - It is hard! Even the beginning monsters beat me a lot! - There is puzzle duels and duels with speacial rules added.

And you have to do them to unlock more monsters to duel. I didn 't like doing them and cheated so i could finish them - There is a Bug that the beta team didn't catch where you can't finish one of the puzzle duels. Meaning that you can't get 100% complete on the game. Absolutely flawless. This is the best, most straightforward Yu-Gi-Oh! Game I have ever played. You start the game picking your avatar's appearance, choose a deck, and then you're straight into dueling.

A lot of these handheld TCG games can get bogged-down in attempting to uphold some sort of thin anime tie-in story, but this game stays away from that and just sticks to action. The playstyle is faster-faced than many real-life duels, but the lack of consequences and time limits and whatnot really makes it easy to start thinking about the game more strategically, and the 'puzzle' mode pushes you to think outside the box and learn some amazing new deck strategies. It's sufficient to say playing the GBA game made me a lot better at the real card game.
