If your router is not listed on this site or in the programs I can add them! By adding your router I can create all the guides, screenshot databases and have your router work in my programs. All you need to do is use my easy to use router screen capture program. This will make getting me the data easy and simple. For more info click here.

Below you will find every router that has been added to the site and programs. These are the default usernames and passwords as they where submitted to me. If a router wasn't using the defaults I looked up the default username and password on the manufactures website.

Hi rdhw My problem is only the internet connection. As I saw other posts about such problems it was weird mine differs. My network connections is present, all available. I had a anti-virus present when installing, forgot to disable.

Trend Micro Internet Security Pro(Could this be a cause?) After SP3 installation I even triend uninstalling the anti-virus sofware but still my internet connection not available. Device manager populated. There is no weird activity at all present on my computer except for the internet.

Router works fine. The network lights blink at the bottom of my screen(Thus LAN working because I can access my router firmware by 10.0.0.2) but no connection available to router. I even tried repairing the connection and stopping the NAP service.

Nothing worked. After I installed SP3 and restarted my pc the internet connection(adsl) worked for a while and then just ceased to respond.

After that no luck. When I restore back to SP2 it works again. Could the anti-virus be such a big problem or could there be more causes? Please advise if you need more information. Thanks Regards. Harry potter 5 pdf Did you disable any anti-virus products? Did you have any Norton product even installed on the PC at the time of applying SP3, regardless of whether it was disabled? Is there the same registry corruption present as reported in other threads about missing network connections, and empty device manager windows?

Is the control panel 'Network Connections' populated or not? I have installed SP3 three times and each time with the same results.

The Only error message I get during the SP3 install is of an ASAPI.sys error which I ignore. I Disabled AVG and don't have any Norton Products on my PC. My Machine looks normal except for the Dead Internet. It seems there are other users with my ISP that use the Same Marconi Routers/Modems that are experiencing the same problems.

I will also mail Marconi and see if they are aware of the problem as well. I will try it again and see if there is any sign of registry corruption, but not being an IT expert makes it a tad difficult.

I Was mistaken, yes you are right, I do have Alcohol loaded. I Keep loading SP3 and keep losing my Internet, I am tired of installing and re-installing only to find it works after I have put a Manual DNS number in but then it will go dead after a random amount of time. Each Fix someone reccomends seems to work until something happens in WIndows and then all is lost again. It's as though the Router is switched off but it isn't.

Last night I thought I had it licked only to boot up this morning to dead Internet. I will try uninstalling Alcohol and trying the Install again. Attempt number 9.

Hi Blackbird, I am going to try again, with reccomendations to uninstall Alcohol. I keep getting suggestions which I follow and they all seem to work, but then after an Arb amount of time the Internet goes Dead, both Outlook and IE7. Last night it happened after Installing SP3 so I then set the DNS to 10.0.0.2 manually, the VOILA it worked, so I figured I was OK until this morning when I booted up after last night the Internet was Dead again, I checked the Router all the Lights were on but no internet so then I uninstalled and still had no internet, so I rebooted the Router and all is well but under SP2 again. I Must also mention that when the Internet was working last night with SP3 the Cakewalk Forum I hang around was incredibly slow, much worse than a normally bad busy period. I am going to try again now attempt no 9. Again all suggestions are welcome and will be tried.
